Qoola-Ooh La La ;)

You will be seeing many posts from Qoola in this blog; it has always been one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond :)

Overall: 4.5
  • frozen yoghurts, drinks (smoothies) available
  • Sun-Wed 11am-11pm Thur-Sat 11am-12am
  • combos available (e.g. waffle combo)
  • cozy atmosphere; kids friendly
  • place for teenagers to hang out
  • free Wi-Fi
  • gluten-free friendly
  • healthier choice to satisfy your sweet tooth
  • encourages environmental friendly
  • suitable for all ages
Waffle Combo with raspberries & blueberries, and a mini yoghurt-4/6
  • $7; combo includes the waffle (with 2 toppings) and a cup of tea/coffee
  • +$2 for a mini yoghurt on top of waffle
But I asked them to put it in a small cup for me because I didn't want the yoghurt to soften my waffle.
  • amount of toppings depends on the one who serves you
  • you need to add extra money ($0.75) for an extra topping
  • fruits may not be fresh; depends on what fruits you pick
  • nothing to shout about actually; berries (or any kinds of fruits) always go well with waffles ;)
Waffle Combo with graham crackers & blueberries-5/6
  • apparently, this photo is better than the last one because they generously gave me more toppings this time
  • cashier is a bit slow
  • I don't really like to eat the graham crackers with the waffle; their textures kind of competed with each other
  • EU doesn't like the berries to soften her waffle, so she asked them to serve it on the side (sorry I did't take a picture of that)
  • blueberries go well with the waffle as usual, but these are the frozen ones

  • as you can see, they really gave me a decent amount of toppings
Also, the amount of toppings they are going to give you depends on which topping you've chosen. For example, if you've chosen mochi, normally they won't give you many
Qoola is one of the staples for EU and me, we always go to have their waffle combo in the weekends. A yummy, warm, freshly made waffle including 2 toppings and a cup of hot drink for $5 is a pretty good way to start a Saturday/Saunday morning! ;)
